Most of us either know or have some idea about what we could do to become healthier, and yet we are simply not doing it. Changing our lifestyle and choices around diet, exercise and overall well-being can be very difficult, since these behaviors are generally habitual. This is where health coaching comes in - providing the transformational support for habit change.
Through working together on a consistent weekly basis, challenging lifestyle changes are greatly facilitated by the creation of accountability and commitment between me as a health coach and you as the client.
I will support you in breaking free from bad habits, adopt healthy and healing ones, and move you through the transformative journey of actively creating the life you want to live. I embrace a holistic approach since, generally, how we do one thing is how we do everything. Additionally, ‘health’ covers a broad spectrum of our lives including diet, exercise, relaxation, sleep, mindset, relationships, thought-patterns, self-compassion and self-acceptance.
Health coaching is not mainly about what to eat (we often know that already) but rather about how to eat, our habits and relationship with food and exercise, as well as our relationship with ourselves, our body and our life goals.
It is key for the client to understand that this is a journey of self-discovery and self-examination, which is the foundation of real and sustainable change. I am not the expert on your life, only you are the expert on your own life. As a Health Coach I am a powerful ally who stands by you and supports you in your unique change process, helping you reach your goals by making your dreams into plans and reality.
Healthy habits create healthy results, and the good news is that we are always only one choice away from better health.
